  • Flat Repair

    Flat Repair

At MOBILE TIRE DOCTOR, we know how inconvenient a flat tire can be. Tires can lose air for many reasons, including a puncture, corroded rim, leaky valve, cracked wheel or a host of other reasons. If you do experience a flat or low pressure in a tire while driving, change to your spare tire immediately. Driving for even a short distance on a deflated tire will damage the tire beyond repair. Our Tire Doctors can fix a flat tire if the damage is contained to non-vital parts. We use a repair procedure that ensures the life of the tire can be extended. We do not offer roadside service. However, we can repair a tire if needed when the vehicle is in a safe location.

  • Nitrogen Filled Tires

    Nitrogen Filled Tires

A tires’ job is to carry the weight of a vehicle. The pressure inside it determines whether it is “doing its job” correctly. Nitrogen is a non-flammable gas that does not contain moisture. Moisture reacts to the tire and wheel that can lead to corrosion, rust and rot. When compressed air is added to a tire there is moisture associated with this. Water increases air pressure at a greater rate when tires are heated up. This affects tire pressure and creates a significant change. Tires need to maintain a set pressure recommended by the manufacturer. Proper inflation keeps the load capacity, performance, tire wear and fuel economy in check without deviation. MOBILE TIRE DOCTOR offers nitrogen filled tires on-site. We can add our nitrogen service to new/used tires as well as SPARE tires that rarely get used. This service is an, added peace of mind, knowing your tire investment will have greater benefits. It’s like preventive maintenance for your tires!

  • Tire Balancing

    Tire Balancing

When your car rolls down the road, it is important that your tires be in proper balance. Out of balance tires will wear quicker and possibly cause symptoms such as vibration or a shaking sensation in the seat or steering wheel. These symptoms may become obvious as the speed of the vehicle changes. As tires wear, it is normal for them to become out of balance. It is recommended that tires be balanced every 15,000 miles to ensure maximum tire life for a smooth and quiet operation.

  • Tire Installation

    Tire Installation

Your tires connect you directly to the road surface and are one of the most important safety items on your vehicle. At Mobile Tire Doctor we take tire installation to a higher level. Your vehicle is lifted on 4 air jacks to gently raise it to a controlled height. Our Tire Doctors use special sockets that protect not only your wheels but your lug nuts as well when removing them. The wheel studs are cleaned to remove rust, debris and checked for previous damage. The next step is to remove the tire from the rim. Our tire removal equipment has enhanced features to keep your wheels from getting scraped or bruised while the tire is surgically removed. A thorough inspection of the rim is performed to determine if there is any corrosion or damage. Our computer assisted balancing machine is highly calibrated. We precisely balance each tire to exacting accuracy. The wheel weights can be placed in the inner wheel to be less obtrusive. This amount of detail assures you that the tires will not cause any undue vibration and provide for a smooth ride. Installation of the tire is the last step and no less important. A Tire Doctor uses a proprietary lift to raise the tire to the wheel hub. This keeps the threads from getting damaged. The lug nuts are applied by hand first. Then an impact wrench is used to further tighten them. Tire Doctors check the lug nuts with a torque wrench to be sure they meet the specifications. Our level of service far exceeds industry standards, after all….we are Mobile Tire Doctors!

  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System

    Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System, often referred to as TPMS, is an electronic system designed to monitor the pressure in your tires. This system uses real time tire pressure information to alert you and other on-board systems if there is a tire pressure problem. If your tire pressure drops to an unsafe level, it will alert you via a dashboard light or warning message. Many systems will also tell you which tire has a pressure issue. Low tire pressure is not only a safety concern, but it will drastically reduce the life of a tire and affect gas mileage. Tire pressure sensors are powered by a non-serviceable battery and will eventually fail due to low battery voltage. The average lifespan of a tire pressure sensor is 7-9 years. It is also recommended, by the sensor manufacturers, that they be replaced or serviced during every tire installation. At Mobile Tire Doctor we have the tools, equipment, training and knowledge to properly service or diagnose your TPMS.

While you drive, your tires wear at different rates due to many factors. This can be due to suspension, steering or a vast number of other issues. This is a normal occurrence with many vehicles. Regular tire rotation can keep the wear on your tires even, improving the life of the tires. Depending on the vehicle, your tires should be rotated every 3,000 to 5,000 miles depending on the vehicles use. There are some important factors while rotating your tires. Many vehicle and tire manufacturers have various rotation patterns. It is important that these be followed to ensure proper wear.

  • Tires

    Tires

Today’s tires are made up of several layers of specialized materials, each playing its own role in how the tire functions. They last longer and are less prone to dangerous blowouts than older tires. Mobile Tire Doctor offers all the major brands of tires. New tires are better at maintaining contact with the road and can help a car’s performance and handling. Choosing the right tires are critically important. As an example, a vehicle towing a trailer or equipment will need a higher load rating tire. With our Florida weather, high ambient temperatures and heavy rain requires a better traction rating. The life expectancy of a tire depends on road conditions, driving habits, tire pressure, usage, and properly rated tires for the vehicle. A tire in Florida should be replaced at least every 6 years or when it reaches less than 3/32 of an inch tread. Yes, a penny still works to check tread depth. Our weather contributes to early deterioration of tires. The rubber compounds found in tires dry out over time and can lead to cracking, greater stress on the tire’s infrastructure and can lead to catastrophic failure. We have all seen vehicles with flat tires on the side of the road. Don’t let this happen to you….be sure your tires are in road worthy shape! If not, let us provide choices for new tires on your vehicle.

    Headlight Restoration

The oxidation in a headlight, poses a safety concern as night visibility can be severely diminished. Headlight discoloration is caused by a combination of pollution, ozone, UV rays, and chemicals used in washing. With reduced light, your line of sight is greatly decreased. It’s like having a cataract in your eyes. The headlight scatters and blocks the light as it passes through the lens, preventing a sharply defined light beam from reaching the road ahead. Unlike a DIY product, we use a procedure that removes, through several steps, the cloudy, yellowed, and scratched headlight assembly. We reapply the original protection that was on it when new. Our UV light bakes the sealant into the restored headlight. This gives it a protection from sunlight and many other harsh containments. Our top-of-the-line product is a no maintenance, self-cleaning coating that is slick to the touch and has a deep gloss protection against Florida’s harsh environmental factors. This treatment will keep your headlights shining bright for years to come.

    Wheel(s) Installation

A new set of wheels can change the entire look of your vehicle. We offer a wide selection of O.E.M. and custom wheels. Installing a new valve stem in a previous wheel or new wheel will provide peace of mind while protecting unwanted failure of an old worn-out one.

They come in a variety of colors to choose from. We get it… wheel damage is infuriating and expensive.
